Summer School Is Over!!

Summer school is finally over as of today!! And I am proud to say that I passed with an A! :) I also have to admit thatI doubt I will ever be doing summer school again!! I was extremely tired throughout the entire month! It probably didnt help much that I would stay up until 3 and 4 in the morning, buuut whatever :) I must say to those of you who havent yet taken Geometry, that it is alot easier than Algebra 1! To be honest I am a bit scared to take Algebra 2 next year! I am not the best at math :/

Anywhozles,
As you may have seen by my last post, I have gotten a new book! It is called Nest Eggs By Kate Knapp and contains a bunch of insperational quotes and such! I got it as a contest prize from Romi! You guys should really go check out her channel. She reviews book and writes stories. She really is a talented young lady! :)
So, for a while now I will be writing quotes on here out of this book :) Please forgive me if I repeat some, but they are all just soooo good! <3

As you travel steadfastly
Along the path of inner peace,
Avoid exciting yourself
Over outward events in your life.
Do not take things too seriously.
They will be what they will be.
Life persues its own paths,
Forever unpredictable.

I really like this quote because life truly is unpredictable and it will move on without you if you dont watch out. The book doesnt have who wrote this quote so I can only assume the Kate Knapp thought this one up. :)

Happy Father’s Day!!

Fathers Day is one of my favorite holidays! I love my Dad sooo mcuh!! I got him a card and I made a little pic that says #1 Dad!

This morning we woke up and got ready for the exciting day. We headed to Sweet Tomatoes to have breakfast with my grandparents and uncle. After that we walked over to the Staples (Office Store) and got a compass for my Geometry class. After coming back home, me and my dad played Modern Warfare. Tonight my mom is making a special dinner and we have Turtle Pie for desert! Yum! :)

So far, my fathers day has been pretty amazing and I hope my dad thinks the same!

………….

Next on the agenda, I wanted to tell you all about my summer school. I am taking Geometry in summer school. Before you make accusations, I am taking Geometry to get ahead in my classes. We are finally in second semester, and I have nine days left. It might not seem that bad except we are in class from 1pm – 7pm! Six hours of Math!!!! I would say its pretty bad. I am really glad that I have some friends in my class or I don’t think I would go.

Even though I hate it, Im glad that I am taking the class. Geometry is really easy for me and I am going to be able to get at least one college class out of the way in high school in the future.

One of these days I will post what I want to do when I grow up, on this blog. But that will come a different time. Now I have to go spend more time with my amazing dad :)

This Star Wont Go Out!

I have to admit. I am a nerdfighter! If you dont know what that is: You must go check out The Vlogbrothers! (Click on the link). They are amazing. If your a nerd. Specifically got to How To Be A Nerdfighter. This Video Blog explains what a nerdfighter is and how to be one. :)
A little awhile ago a fellow nerdfighter named Esther Earl contracted cancer. After passing away the Earl Family created The This Star Wont Go Out foundation! For more informations you can go Here. And I also copied the mission statement below:

The purpose of This Star Won't Go Out foundation is to financially assist families struggling through the journey of a child living with cancer. Caring for a seriously ill child creates tremendous stress for the family system, and having to worry about money is both burdensome and distracting. TSWGO's goal is to carry a bit of that burden for hurting families through financial gifts.

TSWGO has a second goal, and it's tied to why the foundation got started in the first place. TSWGO was established in memory of 16-year old Esther Earl, an avid Nerdfighter and passionate Harry Potter Alliance fan. Her online friends and causes met many of the social and emotional needs in her life, hampered as she was by her progressing thyroid cancer. Yet Esther (Persian for "Star") lived life fully, getting involved in social justice issues, loving her friends, her family and cats, and always remembering to be awesome. With the goal of never letting her Star go out, TSWGO will also be funding occasional projects that fit Esther's quirky, compassionate life vision.

To raise the money for the finacial gifts they sell bracelets that say This Star Wont Go Out. To get your own bracelet go here.

There were alot of links in this video and I hope that you could keep up. Im going to be adding a widget that has the mission statement and where you can get your bracelet. :)
Dont Forget To Be Awsome, :)

The Moral This Time Is, Girls Make Boys Cry...

After a while, you learn the difference between holding hands and falling in love, you learn that kisses don't always mean something, promises can be broken just as quickly as they're made, and goodbyes really are forever.
In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take, relationships we were afraid to have, and the decisions we waited too long to make.
A little death makes life more meaningful.
Can't waste my time on hateful people like you, So keep wishing you were me and I'll keep making you have to.
So raise your glass if you are wrong, In all the right ways.
You're chasin the ghost of a good thing.
Cut my life into pieces, This is my last resort.
Don't tell me you're sorry cause you're not, And baby when I know you're only sorry you got caught.
Sometimes goodbye is a second chance.
Hate me so you can finally see what's good for you.
Can't stop the spirits when they need you, This life is more than just a read through.
Don't blink, They won't even miss you at all.
I said I'd never let you go and I never did, I said I'd never let you fall and I always meant it.
Fate fell short this time, Your smile fades in the summer.
Young and hostile, But not stupid.
High off of love, Drunk from my hate.
Insanity kills, So I live the crazy life.
Don't waste your time on me, You're already the voice inside my head.
Girls do what they want, Boys do what they can.
Hate in my heart, Love in my mind.
I'm here but my mind's gone.
Everybody dies, But not everybody lives.
Don't let anyone ever tell you that you don't deserve what you want
Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.
Sometimes it hurts to lose something you never really had.
Laugh as much as you breathe, And love as long as you live.
We are young, We have heart. Born in this world as it all falls apart.
The moral this time is, Girls make boys cry.

NOTE: I did not write this. I found it on the internet somewhere and I liked it enough that I decided to share with you :) Im pretty sure lots of these are lyrics from different songs but Im not sure....

Tall or Short

One Inch Tall
If you were only one inch tall, you'd ride a worm to school.
The teardrop of a crying ant would be you swimming pool.
A crumb of cake would be a feast
And last you seven days at least,
A flea would be a frightening beast
If you were one inch tall.

If you were only one inch tall, you'd walk beneath the door,
And it would take about a month to get down to the store.
A bit of fluff would be you bed,
You'd swing upon a spider's thread,
And wear a thimble on your head
If you were one inch tall.

You'd surf across the kitchen sink upon a stick of gum.
You couldn't hug your mama, you'd just have to hug her thumb.
You'd run from people's feet in fright,
To move a pen would take all night,
(This poem took fourteen years to write--
'Cause I'm just one inch tall).
Shel Silverstein.

You may have noticed the picture behind the Title. I dont particularly like it, but the advanced setting on blogger arent working right now. Therefore, I cant change the color of the title, and without the picture you cannot see the title. Hopefully soon the setting will work again and I will be able get rid of the picture.
But I want to know your opinion on it. If you like it, please let me know and I might leave it. Comments are always appreciated!
